The Falcon GT Nationals Concourse event began in 1985 and is held every second year, on the odd years, in a different State.  Currently five States participate in this rotation - New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.

The Nationals are usually held over the Easter weekend with a full program organised for 3 1/2 days. The event kicks of with a full day of scrutineering, and this is the first chance for entrants to have a look at the cars, and with the event growing in popularity Host Organisations are offering early scrutineering in days before the official start.   Day one is capped off with a Meet n Greet giving entrants a good chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones over a meal.

Day 2 is full on for all with the Show N Shine and this is when all the cars are closely looked at and the judges start making decision for the various awards.  The evening is usually left for individuals to organise their own little functions, although sometimes host states have been able to organise special events with guest speakers.  Sunday is more relaxing and fun day, with most entrants making their way to a local race track where there is the opportunity to see the GTs in action.

After a day of relaxation and fun, the third night is party night with the formal function and presentation of all the trophies.  For many this function runs into the early hours of the next day and luckily for them, being the last day, is a lazy start.  Most times a cruise is organised to a local place of interest for a farewell brunch.  Many entrants will start the journey home after Brunch.
